Biography

The “Christina Rayne” band, (formerly Savannah) consisting of five very talented, seasoned performers, is high energy and high octane! They feature three and four-part harmony with amazing musicianship! They provide a fullcontact, take-charge show, all set behind their powerhouse lead vocalist “Christina Rayne”. Christina will leave you breathless and wanting for more!

How it began… During the summer of 2006, Mike Lehman decided to form a new band called “ Savannah”—one that included a strong female lead vocalist. Mike, Lee Brandenburg, and Gary Wright, played together in various bands for nearly 15 years. In September 2006, Christina was introduced to Mike by a local agent who judged the local 2006 National Colgate Country Music Showdown contest in St. Cloud where he saw Christina perform. Christina’s stunning vocal performance of “Mississippi Girl” sold Mike, who invited Christina to join their band as their lead vocalist. A couple months later, CJ Stahlberg was hired on as their bass player. Their first performance was in May 2007. Since then, the band has been traveling and performing throughout Minnesota with an increasingly aggressive schedule, wowing the crowds along the way. The winter of 2007, the band changed their name to “ Christina Rayne”.

About the band members…Christina is backed by very talented veterans in the music industry, all residing in Twin Cities locations:

Mike Lehman - Bandleader, Keyboard, /Guitar, Vocals
Wwith his deep rich baritone voice and keyboard/guitar skills, has played with many well known bands throughout the years. His previous performances in Nashville venues, along with his industry experience has attributed to his ability to successfully lead the band. Lee Brandenburg, (drums), a hard rockin drummer provides a solid foundation for the other band members. His diversified background with Country, Rock, Blues and Funk provides a huge arsenal of chops from which to choose.

Gary Wright (aka Bobby Evans, Gary Bobby) - Guitar
Providing unbelievable sounds on the guitar, toured nationally with The McCoy’s (Hang on Sloopy) in the mid-80’s. His brings previous band experience having played with: The Naked Cowboys, Nighttrain, Lazy Ike, the Daredevils, and critically acclaimed Coolbilly.

CJ Stahlberg - Bass Guitar/Vocals
Has experience playing with many bands in the Twin Cities. Previous experience also includes laying bass tracks for numerous commercials at Tanner Studios in Memphis, where he acquired his love for country music. He has toured in the United States, Europe,
and Asia, most notably with the legendary Cadillac Ranch.

Christina - Lead Vocals
A native of Sauk Centre. Her vocal talents originated at an early age. At the age of 17, she toured European countries performing with the Great Lakes Ambassadors. She won the 2006 State competition in the National Colgate Country Music Contest. Christina Rayne thrills her audiences with breathtaking performances. Besides joining the band, another turning point for Christina’s musical career was recording her album “Who She Ain’t” in Nashville in May 2007.
