Biography

The talented members of Minneapolis/St. Paul-based "Jug" have entertained crowds at premiere events and clubs for over twenty years. The Men of Jug, who have been members of such renowned groups as the Johnny Holm Band, Jonah and the Whales, High Noon, Dazy Head Mazy, and Janie in Wonderland, are repeat performers at We Fest as well as veterans of the Minnesota State Fair, the Mall of America, major county fairs and festivals, and virtually every "A" room in Minnesota.

Known for their exceptional, top-quality show, the members of Jug have been called on to perform with international superstars such as Tim McGraw, Miranda Lambert, Lady Antebellum, Sawyer Brown, SheDaisy, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Montgomery Gentry, Tracy Lawrence and more. The band is a who’s who among regional country musicians, with Dirk Rush on rhythm guitar and vocals, Corey Rae White on lead guitar and vocals, Michael Dean on fiddle, banjo, mandolin, rhythm guitar and vocals, Reggie Hammond on keyboard and vocals, Adam Rio on bass, and Lance Merkin on drums.

With great personalities and spontaneous audience interaction, Jug provides a range of the best country, country rock, and dance music that has earned them faithful fans across the upper Midwest. Alongside their original material, Jug provides professional performance of songs by Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, Zac Brown Band, Kenny Chesney, The Eagles, Lady Antebellum, Charlie Daniels, Kid Rock, Johnny Cash, Dierks Bentley, The Rolling Stones, Bon Jovi, Billy Joel, Garth Brooks, Tom Petty, Elvis Presley, Toby Keith, Big & Rich, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Willie Nelson, Jason Aldean, and Rascal Flatts to name a few.
