Big Toe & The Jam

Big Toe & The Jam are here to help you kick off your shoes and shake out the blues on an utterly grand scale.

KC & The Sunshine Band, Bruno Mars, Journey, Black Eyed Peas, Billy Joel, Maroon 5, Stevie Wonder, Beyonce, Michael Jackson, Prince, Marvin Gaye, Young MC, B52s, Gwen Stefani, The Beatles, Gretchen Wilson, Outkast, Chicago, Rick James, Talking Heads, Peter Gabriel, Georgia Satellites, Neil Diamond, Bon Jovi, Garth Brooks, Isley Brothers, Aretha Franklin, C&C Music Factory, The Blues Brothers, Kid Rock, and many more.

Classic Rock, Country, Disco, R&B, Funk, Soul, Contemporary Dance, and more.

Vocalist Paul Dunkirk (original member, The Blenders) and drummer Jamie Scheitel (Sacred Chao, Brat Pack Radio) have merged their respective bags of trickery and assembled a 9-piece, technicolor troupe with infectious appeal. Paul Dunkirk and Paula Wilson strong and soulful on vocals get the crowd going. Scheitel on drums with Aaron Hammerman on bass lay out relentlessly rock-steady, dynamic grooves. Trevor Wiest is smooth, slick, inventive, or face-melting depending on what the mood calls for. Brian Allen rocks the keyboard and vocal harmonies. One of the best horn sections in town with Matt Bergman on sax, John Baumgartner on trombone, and Sten Johnson on trumpet.

These exceptionally talented musical artists want nothing more than to show you a good time.

So, step right up. Get on in under the big tent. You’re gonna strut. You’re gonna sweat. You’re gonna get downright converted. Resistance? Futile.

  • “Hiring Big Toe and the Jam was one of the best decisions we made regarding our wedding. They were professional and friendly when setting up, and they did an excellent job of listening to what we wanted during our planning meeting. At the wedding, they kept everyone dancing and the energy high. I can’t tell you how many comments we had from our guests and people working at the venue about how good they are and how much fun everyone was having. My husband’s highlight of the night was when he was pulled up on stage to sing “Sweet Caroline” in front of everyone — very spontaneous (very not him!), but so much fun! We went to a wedding this past weekend where there was a band, and they couldn’t hold a candle to the talent of Big Toe. They are some talented musicians! If there is ever an occasion in the future where we would need a band, we wouldn’t hesitate to hire them again”. -Beth Schultz, 763-226-0054
